We have all heard that juicing is a healthy lifestyle and I’ll be one of the first to admit to it’s amazing health benefits as I juice all the time. I have personally found a difference in my health, especially when it comes to juicing celery. I feel fantastic and I want to help you to feel fantastic too! Also, I have to share that drinking celery juice is super affordable so it’s easy on the wallet too! So what’s not to love about celery juice? I’m sure, after you read this and try it, you’ll fall in love with this amazing super tonic!

Choosing Organic and Pesticide-Free Vegetables

First, though, I want to elaborate on the importance of juicing, especially organic. Juicing organic vegetables, in general, is more beneficial to eating them. Let’s break down why choosing organic is best. Using organic vegetables ensures that they have been grown in healthy soil and have not been sprayed with harmful synthetic pesticides. Pesticides have been linked to a lot of diseases such as cancer, nervous system diseases and reproductive issues. Also, did you know that celery is on the dirty dozen list of the most detectable pesticides? Who wants to drink pesticide juice? EW! Also in that list is: potatoes, tomatoes, pears, cherries, apples, nectarines, grapes, sweet bell peppers, spinach and strawberries. So if you are going to throw in, let’s say, some apples into your celery juice – make sure that’s organic too! Also, vegetables that have not been grown in healthy soils lack in essential nutrients that are vital to our nutrition, so when you choose organic, you’re choosing vegetables that come from healthy soil! Yay! Speaking of our nutrition, I will circle back to the essentials of juicing and why it’s healthier. When juicing, this removes the fiber content which supplies a quick boost of nutrition that is more readily absorbed into the body. Now onto the star of all the vegetables and juicing: celery.

Here are some of the benefits of this powerful health tonic: Anti-inflammatory: Those that suffer from chronic illnesses such as rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, acne, gout, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and a list of other types of illnesses can be alleviated from drinking celery juice alone. Anti-cancer: Celery juice contains apigenin and luteolin which are two powerful anti-cancer properties. Diuretic: Drinking celery juice is good for weight loss and helps with cleansing the system and ridding the body of extra water weight. Great for digestion and gut health: If you suffer constipation, celery juice is great for this. Also, it aides in balancing hydrochloric acid in the body for gut health. The list of benefits even further goes on from here including calming effects for your emotions if you suffer with being nervous. It’s truly that amazing! Tips for Celery Juice In the morning, drink 16 ounces of plain celery juice on an empty stomach, and then wait 15 minutes before you have breakfast.

Use organic celery

If drinking straight celery juice is not to your liking, you can always add in a cucumber or an apple to help you get adjusted to the flavor. It is important, though, that you increase the celery as you adjust to the taste of straight celery juice to get full benefit.
