I’ve always had a passion for health and fitness. It all began at the age of 5 years old when I would work out to Richard Simmons DVD’s with my mom. Haha. I enjoyed fitness and was always naturally athletic. I started working out with a personal trainer at the age of 17. I LOVED it so much that I got certified and worked as a personal trainer for many years while pursuing my career as a professional wrestler.
Yes…you read that right, PRO WRESTER! I wrestled professionally for 10 years and was very fortunate to travel worldwide doing so. I later fell in love with the art of Pole Dancing and became a Pole Fitness instructor, and the creator of the super popular mobile app, Liz M’s Pole Dancing for Beginner’s, which reached over 120k downloads!
As fun and exciting as it was, the years of being a professional athlete took a toll on my body and I needed a serious break. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called fibromyalgia, which can cause chronic pain amongst many other ailments. I also have celiac disease and several food allergies which can be problematic if not taken seriously. The good news is that I’ve been able to manage my symptoms through natural remedies.
I believe that everything happens for a reason, and working through my own health challenges has made me super passionate about helping others. To empower people to be healthier and happier is my true purpose in life. Helping you live your best life is my goal!
Outside of health coaching, I enjoy doing freelance photography and makeup artistry (they are my artistic outlets), I act as a vegan advocate, and I love spending time with my dog Kaylee, who is also vegan!
